Business Chain Reporting and Optimization Specialist

Within our department, there is a vacancy for a new colleague in the position of Supply Chain Reporting and Optimization Specialist.

You will be part of a small team of 4 people in total. With 3 colleague PI Business Planners, you will strengthen the team in the role of Supply Chain Reporting and Optimization Specialist.

Here's what we would like you to do:

In your function, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain Management and Planning teams, by providing insightful reports and analytics on Inventory, Forecast and Supply for the BDI EMEA business. This includes reporting, monitoring and projecting Supply Chain metrics, as well as optimizing capabilities and results.

You will provide input for the Management Business Reviews for all business segments, to align market and financial requirements with supply capabilities.

You will also drive optimization by leading or executing specific projects and by responding to ad hoc requests in support of the business.

More specifically:

• You will draw up daily inventory reports, make monthly inventory projections and support the annual inventory process
• You will support the return of the stock in collaboration with the Customer Service teams
• You prepare the monthly Forecast of Receipts
• You provide support in the allocation of short supply to maximize service in a fair way
• You prepare and analyze the monthly Excess and Obsolescence reports
• You prepare and analyze the monthly Forecast Accuracy reports
• You prepare and analyze the monthly Backorder reports
• You prepare Daily Sales reports
• You prepare the data that will be used for the monthly Management Business Reviews, including:
  • Supply Chain metrics by business unit
  • Demand Expected values in relation to the latest financial plans
  • Inventory and backorder projections
• You are looking for opportunities to optimize. You propose initiatives and seek the buy-in of management. You will also launch and drive these initiatives towards optimization.

• You leverage Lean or Six Sigma tools for process improvement to increase service, increase forecast accuracy, optimize inventory
• You maintain and develop databases with information needed for decision making
• You prepare executive level presentations as required
• You ensure personal and corporate compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and the environment.
